My part in Skills is to time the runners.. we had a close but no cigar moment this year with Elmer Beiler posting a 11:04. The all time speed record was set in 2003 at Jack Mattox in Ringgold Ga. when Mace Hebert ran a 10:06.  This was on 60ft. bases. (Elmer's 11:04 was on 65ft. bases)

Since 2002 the umpires for the boys tournament
have been this association. They conduct the skills contest.

The Stat Master....Paul Laney
Paul is the voice and stat man for
the Tullahoma Little League
he announces games and compiles
all the stats for that league.
At our tournament he keeps batting averages for every player in the tournament. He figures All Tourneys
in each age division...this year that meant 59 teams with an average of
13 players per team over 800 players

Corbin softball legend Coach Paul Pietrowski
Coach of the Pepsi program since the early 1990's  and member of the Boys Softball
Hall of Fame. With him is Tyler Hendrickson
who played in this tournament ages 9-20, a many time All Star Tyler is a Hall Of Fame Member as well.
Located on I-75 90 miles North of Knoxville is Corbin
the birthplace of KFC and
the birthplace of some of the finest boys softball players. Paul Pietrowski
and the Hendrickson Brothers Jimmy and Bobby
have been bring teams to this tournament since the early 1980's. Tyler Hendrickson continues this
tradition today.
